We are looking for a licensed Residential Wireman and/or Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician to undertake a variety of tasks relating to the installation of residential generators.
Your job will involve installing electrical wiring and components on residential properties. He or She must be first and foremost a responsible individual with great attention to safety precautions and follow instructions from our Master Electrician. The ideal candidate must be a "people person", maintain a clean appearance, and be able to communicate well with homeowners.
Responsibilities
- Execute plans of electrical wiring
- Conduit work including bending, assembling, and wiring through them
- Working under Master Electrician and following instructions.
Skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Experience in Residential standby generator electrical systems
- Demonstrable ability to use electrical instruments, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Excellent physical condition with the ability to work outside in the heat
- Valid license to practice the profession
