Responsibilities:
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions for clients, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans to address their specific concerns.
- Utilize a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue, Swedish, and sports massage, to provide effective pain relief and relaxation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and provide recommendations for self-care between sessions.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding the practice of massage therapy.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in performing deep tissue massage techniques to address chronic pain and musculoskeletal issues.
- Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the most appropriate treatment approach.
- Familiarity with occupational health principles and practices to address work-related injuries or conditions.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
- Experience in acute pain management and the ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Competence in conducting physical examinations to identify areas of concern or potential contraindications for massage therapy.
