Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong attention to detail.
Duties:
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate staff members
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and processing
- Performing data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with order entry and maintaining inventory records
- Providing administrative support to various departments as needed
- Assisting with filing, organizing documents, and maintaining electronic records
- Assisting with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Assisting with special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with phone systems and customer service is preferred
- Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
