We are Chicago's premiere custom menswear brand looking for a Showroom Assistant to work in a fun, fast-paced environment with opportunities for bonuses, and career advancement.
Please note: This is luxury retail, SATURDAYS 9:30-5:30 are required. We are closed on Sundays.
This position is Part Time and can be considered for Full Time after 8 weeks. Part Time days/hours are flexible to be determined with candidate upon job offer (e.g. we can accomodate University class schedules)
In this position, your main responsibility is to work with the Store Managers to ensure that the business run smoothly for both the customers and Sales reps. The ideally, you will learn quickly and be promoted to Assistant Store Manager.
As part of this service you'll be expected to:
- Ensure goods are well displayed (assist with merchandising)
- Help with inventory, ordering, and delivery
- Receive and process deliveries from suppliers
- Help put fabrics online and on display in the showroom
- Keep the shop floor clean and tidy
- Press/iron clothing
- Welcome and advise customers during busy times

- Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet (for ordering, data entry, research, social media, etc)
