Job Summary:
Utilizing a high energy approach, the operations coordinator will identify customer needs and how they can benefit from partnering with Ritehaul Logistics, Inc. This includes operational execution and communication between the customer, their accounting department, and any other parties involved. Primary responsibilities for this position are coordinating operations with a focus on drayage.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Communicating with international and domestic customers, vendors, and agents
- Quick and accurate RFQ responses according to company guidelines
- Identifying and verifying missing information from documents (pickup and delivery locations, dimensions, commodity, etc.)
- Determining routing, transit times, and options best suited to meet customer needs
- Complying with customer requirements and procedures
- Preparing and processing documentation
- Tracking and tracing international cargo
- Updating shipment information in company systems
- Analyzing and verifying documents received from vendors and/or shippers
- Communicating with company drivers and coordinating deliveries
- Advising accounts and/or customers of shipment information
- Assuring compliance with U.S. DOT regulations
- Invoicing customers for services provided
- Problem solving and trouble shooting
- Assists any other departments and performs any other duties as requested

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics from a four-year college or university and at least 1-2 years of applicable experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong mathematical, analytical, organizing, planning, and multi-tasking skills required
- Comprehensive working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products including MS Word, MS Outlook and advanced proficiency in Excel
