At The Goat and Vine, dishwashers are responsible for washing / sanitizing all silverware, dishware, pots, pans, and utensils. Dishes are then dried and placed in their respective storage areas. Maintaining a clean and organized work station is crucial in order to provide the restaurant with a steady stream of clean dishes, silverware, etc. Communication and interpersonal skills are necessary in order to work with other team members in the most optimal way possible. Our collective goal is to provide our guests with an unparalleled hospitality experience. Therefor, applicants must be flexible and willing to help in areas outside of standard dishwashing responsibilities. Minor food preparation and deep cleaning tasks are commonly delegated to dishwashers during slower times of the day. Applicants should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, able to lift objects / cases at or above 50 lbs., and able to maintain a positive mentality. We desire to bolster our team with individuals who possess a strong work ethic, integrity, and ambition to grow. Both full and part time positions are available. Dish is the foundation of our entire operation and can serve as a stepping stone to multiple career paths in the hospitality industry.
