Custom Building Products is seeking a skilled Quality Control Lab Technician for our manufacturing facility. This is an entry-level position on 3rd shift (Sun-Thur 10pm to 6am) and requires basic math skills required (including knowledge of percentages and fractions).

Candidate will need to:
1. Perform all required mixing and testing procedures on an array of products both paste and powder and be able to learn various lab equipment.
2. Perform color checking, matching, and adjusting procedures with minimal supervision.
3. Size formulations as necessary in accordance with production, lab, or departmental requirements and approve or reject incoming raw materials and placing defective materials on hold.
4. Utilize general knowledge of manufacturing procedures to facilitate problem solving and communicate effectively with Production.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed quality assurance inspection and documentation in accordance with departmental procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The qualified applicant MUST:
· Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
· Have 1-2 years of relevant experience (preferred).
· Be willing to train and be responsible, reliable, and hard-working with excellent learning skills.
· Possess basic math skills including knowledge of percentages and fractions.
This is a 3rd shift position with typical hours of Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6am. This position will require minor overtime and some weekend work during the peak season. Competitive salary is dependent upon experience and includes $2/hr. shift differential.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position, thus only local candidates will be considered.
This is a full-time position and is eligible for Health, Dental, and Vision on a cost sharing basis after 60 days of service; offers a 401K savings plan after 6 months of service; and paid holidays/vacations once the probationary period is completed.
