We are looking for a motivated Surgical Scrub Technician to join our surgical team. Our ASC operates two operating rooms specializing in ambulatory ophthalmologic surgery.
The Surgical Scrub Technician actively engages in the management of supply inventories, operating room readiness, and direct clinical and technical assistance to the surgeon while performing ophthalmologic surgery. The position as a Surgical Scrub Technician requires an understanding of surgical instrumentation and surgical techniques in ophthalmology.
Medical Technician Experience:
· BLS Certified
· Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
· Knowledge of ophthalmologic surgery is preferred
· 1 year experience working in an ambulatory or hospital OR setting preferred
· Excellent communication skills
· Attention to detail
· Proficiency in sterile and infection control practices
· Knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and instruments
This position is a per diem position working 1-3 days a week, generally Mondays – Wednesdays.
·Medical Technician Shift: 8-10 hours
· Lunch is currently provided on full surgical days
Job Types: Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
