Our growing Early Intervention agency is seeking a full time and part time Speech Language Pathologist for children with developmental delays from birth to age three. SLP part time position will begin with a part-time caseload. Services are provided based on the needs of each child in their home or daycare setting in Leigh County. The role of the SLP is to remediate and promote functional development in the areas of language, speech, voice, fluency and oral motor development for children who have been determined eligible for Early Intervention services. Utilizing a coaching model, child development and skills are targeted within everyday routines.
Speech Language Pathologist must have appropriate education and license. Experience working with young children and their families preferred. Must also have proficient computer skills, willingness to learn how to upload client documentation onto Jump Start’s Google Workspace and ability to complete accurate reports in a timely manner.
Driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to provide or pass three clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Check, FBI Fingerprinting) required. Must be able to provide or pass CPR and First aid certification.
Independent subcontractor. Pay for service. Highly competitive rate for qualified individual.
