Join our team for 2022 ! Laredo Medical Center is now hiring full-time and PRN Special Procedure Technologist. Laredo Medical Center offers a full range of imaging services to provide patients with diagnostic and therapeutic services. Our imaging and radiology services teams work with doctors, nurses and other clinicians to deliver comprehensive care. Our digital imaging technology allows doctors to access test results immediately, so treatment can begin more quickly. Our trained imaging technologists are certified with advanced registries and are focused on patient safety and comfort.
Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology either hospital based or college degree program.
Licenses & Certifications
● Required: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or eligible. ● Required: State license or certification if applicable.
● Required: BLS within 30 days of hire.
● Preferred: Advanced ARRT Registration.
As a Special Procedure Tech at Laredo Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. While working here, you will be under the direction of a Radiologist. The Special Procedures Technologist must possess a good working knowledge of the diagnostic process and must demonstrate clinical competency in those areas of the department they are assigned to work. This position must promote good public relations for the department and the hospital while maintaining patient/customer confidentiality. The Special Procedures Technologist also applies and implements the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the hospital.
