Title: Assistant Property Manager
FLSA Status: Non - Exempt
Pay Rate: $17/hourly
Job Summary: Assist the property manager in the daily operation of the property
Essential Duties/Expectations:
· Processes rent collections and security deposits
· Responsible for property in the absence of the Property Manager
· Assists with marketing
· Handles lease renewals
· Handles all aspects of prospective residents, to include making of appointments, verifications of applicant information, telephone interview, apartment viewing, traffic follow-up and home visits
· Processes bills
· Processes work orders and logs
· Maintains tenant accounts
· Processes move-ins and move-out inspections.
· Makes unit inspections as needed
· Assists manager with clerical work
· Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager
Minimum Requirements:
Education /Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Industry related courses
· 1-5 years of customer service, social services or other type of position that requires public contact
· Proven ability to manage and coordinate group programs
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literacy
· Good organizational skills
· Able to deal with public
· Effective oral and written communication skills
Licenses/Certifications:
· Valid driver’s license & proof of insurance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
