North Jersey Friendship House is a non-profit organization that's mission is to build the skills of individuals with varying abilities and developmental needs by providing, within a safe haven, comprehensive clinical treatment, vocational training and work opportunities in order to achieve meaningful and productive lives. The services provided by North Jersey Friendship House are designed to address the unique needs and goals of the individual. Our programs include day treatment, supported employment services, and an adults with autism day program.
We are seeking a Part-Time Rehabilitation Group Counselor who will facilitate psychosocial and psychoeducational groups for members and completes daily notes on progress of the members.
Essential Functions include:

- Develop and lead scheduled groups as designated by the Senior Counselor and Executive Director of Clinical & Outreach Services
- Supportive counseling of members, during group time. Ongoing communication with primary Rehabilitation Counselors
- Supervision of students and/or volunteers assigned to the group
- Ordering supplies necessary for the program with the approval of the Executive Director of Clinical & Outreach Services
- Completion of daily group notes in Electronic Health Record system
- Complete trainings in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer and/or Clinical Director
Requirements:
- BA in Human Services required
- Experience in Mental Health and Co-occurring Disorders a plus
