Gristedes and D'Agostino's, the largest and most iconic grocery stores in New York, owned by family based business, Red Apple Group, is looking for co-store managers to oversee and manage our daily operations and meet store goals while providing excellent customer service.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take responsibility to supervise, train and assist employees re customer service, store maintenance, and product promotions
- Direct and manage day-to-day operations and create a positive work environment
- Enforce Company policies and procedures
- Develop store strategies for expanding traffic and profitability
- Handle customer/staff complaints and ensure all are addressed
- Maintain proper inventory levels by ensuring and implementing purchasing plans with suppliers
- Assign duties to staff based on their knowledge of expertise
- Create and execute work schedules for staff
- Maintain excellent store condition and visual merchandising standards at all times
- Meet sales goals by training, motivating and mentoring sales staff; cross-train employees
- Create positive work environment
- Knowledge of all departments within store
SKILLS:
- Exceptional interpersonal, planning and organizing, and leadership skills
- Highly motivated, results-oriented
- High level of customer service skills with demonstrated leadership and management skills
- High School or equivalent (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week
