APQP - Reviews customer drawings and specs, comparing requirements to existing product - Feasibility / Contract Review.
Plans and prepares PPAP documents for new customer products.
Knowledge of and experience with Flow Charts, Control Plans and PFMEAs.
Primary contact for customer complaints.
Analyzes and assists in resolving customer complaints for existing products to include advising and assisting in corrective action. Reports findings and corrective action plan back to customer.
Completes required countermeasure reports and presents successfully to customer.
Conduct trend analysis of Quality problems both in house and at customer. Develops plans to correct/improve conditions.
Ability to complete Process Capability studies and knowledge to improve.
Identify gaging needs and develop/order gages and Gage R&R acceptability.
Completes required new product documents and inspection reports.

Understand and implement Customer Specific Requirements in manufacturing.
Training of QA associates in quality functions, processes and manufacturing.
Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to learn all manufacturing processes and the purpose of the applications. To be able to explain in detail the manufacturing process.
Support and performs Quality Management Systems Audits for ISO 9001 / IATF16949.
Have or willing to acquire a passport and possible international travel. Some travel to customers is required for:
- Acquiring knowledge of how products are assembled and utilized.
- Development and maintenance of excellent working relationships.
- Investigating/reporting in regard to quality problems.
REQUIRED:
-Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 / IATF 16949
-Minimum 3 years Quality or Engineering experience in an automotive manufacturing company.
-ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 experiences.
-Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 / IATF 16949.
BS in Quality or Engineering related field or equivalent experience.
Must be able to develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, suppliers and co-workers.
Knowledge of and ability to use quality tools (5-Why, 8-D, 5-P, Fishbone diagram, SPC, R&R, etc.)
-Microsoft Office skills,
-APQP AOAG review, approval and implementation of product specifications and standards.
-Working knowledge Statistical Process Control, gaging and Gage R&R
-Must sustain and be self-motivated to plan, prepare and implement actions daily to monito and improve quality systems without daily management monitoring.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
