Responsibilities: - Fabricate and weld metal components based on engineering drawings and specifications - Operate and maintain various fabrication equipment, including press brake machines, hand tools, and machining tools - Perform sheet metal cutting, bending, and shaping using appropriate techniques - Rig and move materials using forklifts and cranes as needed - Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any fabrication issues Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in fabrication and welding - Proficient in FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques - Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes - Familiarity with various hand tools used in metalworking - Experience operating forklifts and cranes for material handling Skills: - Excellent welding skills with the ability to produce high-quality welds - Strong mechanical knowledge to understand engineering drawings and specifications - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately - Proficient in using fabrication equipment such as press brake machines and machining tools Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
