Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to join our team. Under the responsibility of the President & CEO, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and driving sales growth for our company. Privately-owned company established in Europe since 1981 and in USA since 1998 (Elk Grove Village - Chicago), leader in its market, designer and manufacturer of automated industrial capital equipment for companies involved in optics, plastics, foundry, medical..., is looking for its National Sales Manager M/W to increase its sales force.
Because our company is based on collaboration and in perpetual evolution, establishing partnership based on state-of-the-art technology and premium customer service, we sell directly to our customers without independent sales rep.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Manage and lead a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and motivation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and accounts
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand market reach
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product launches and promotions
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiations with potential clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role in a BtoB environment, selling capital equipment preferably in Optics, Injection molding or metal processing
- Higher education in mechanics, chemistry or metal processing, you like to evolve in a technical environment with high added value
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Proficient in using Salesforce or other CRM software
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, empathy, easily interact and connect with peers
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
- Experience in account management and building long-term relationships with clients
- Ability to lead a team, set clear objectives, and drive performance
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
