Consider joining the team at Garmat USA as an Outside Territory Sales Representative for our Paint Booth Equipment Solutions division in the Dallas Fort Worth Market.
The Outside Sales Territory Manager is rewarded for selling paint booths to independent accounts within the territory. These sales include related finishing equipment sales and the sale of annual preventative maintenance contracts primarily servicing the automotive collision and industrial refinish customers. Candidates must have 3 or more years of successful achievement, building relationships and growing sales. The Outside Territory Sales Manager must be driven to build industry relationships and manage sales opportunities and pipelines.
Essential Duties
- Develops a clear and concise sales plan for the territory and potential customers in the market space.
- Manages all leads and opportunities, timely follow up with potential customers and pipeline management in the company CRM.
- Provides direct support to the customer during the course of the project, while engaging with internal team members to ensure the customer expectations are met.
- Builds relationships with industry partners, direct and indirect customers in the market.
- Attends trade shows and industry events from time to time.
- Maintains and grows outside sales for an assigned area/specialty/industry.
- Constantly works to build relationships and goodwill for the company within the industry.
- Tracks and reports weekly on outside sales activities.
- Aware and tracks competitive/market intelligence for outside sales for assigned territory/industry.
- Develops and manages quotes for outside sales opportunities.
- Responsible for making and tracking sales calls, developing, and maintaining sales territory.
- Actively promotes products and services to add value to the customer and sales process.
Requirements
- High School diploma required. Associate or bachelor’s degree a plus.
- 3 or more years of experience in an Outside Territory Sales role.
- Previous experience in manufacturing/project management experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic CAD 2D/3D experience with collision center layout and equipment drawings preferred.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and expand current software capabilities.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time well with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Relationship driven and strong problem-solving skills.
- Capable of functioning well in a fast-paced, team driven environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. HubSpot experience preferred.
- Ability to travel locally up to 75% of the time. Out-of-state travel may be expected, as required.
