We are now seeking an Associate General Counsel to support our Office of Legal Affairs and Risk Management.
Associate General Counsel – Contracts/Commercial Transactions
Under the direction of the Vice President and Associate General Counsel, the selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts for equipment, goods and services, with a particular emphasis on real estate, leasing, construction and facilities-related agreements, and advising hospital departmental leaders on a range of commercial, legal and regulatory matters. Experience as an in-house counsel is preferred, but not required. As Associate General Counsel, the candidate will be joining a high-intensity, full-service corporate legal department of more than twenty attorneys and will be expected to work collaboratively with fellow counsel and the department’s business partners at all levels of hospital management.
This is a full time position working 4 days at our Corporate Office in mid-town Manhattan and the ability for 1 day remote.
Required Criteria
- Law degree

Admission to the New York State Bar

Three to five years of previous work related experience

In depth experience in real estate and contract law
