Summary/Objective
The Chemical Operator deals with slurry and containing hazardous HF and HCI. Hazwoper incident commander. Analyzes process materials with XRF equipment. Runs microtrac equipment. Takes all measurements necessary to maintain audits, records, and control charts for Grain Plant Operations. Planning extraction runs and maintaining production levels.
Essential Functions
- Operates chemical extraction process
- Perform routine lab testing to verify process is in control. Adjust settings as necessary
- Work with hazardous chemicals (HF & HCL)
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve chemistry and make appropriate adjustments
- Operate forklift
- Maintain area (clean, orderly, 5S requirements)

Required Education and Experience
- Basic Chemistry; Associates or equivalent
- Three or more years in a chemical operator role in a manufacturing facility preferred
