We are an established, Locally-owned maintenance, repair and construction company looking to grow dramatically over the next 3-5 years. We focus entirely on single-family rental homes, condos and townhomes.
Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to develop, motivate and supervise a team of field service technicians and Third-Party Service Providers. As a Field Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our field service operations and keeping our team motivated and excited about their future with the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
● Recruiting, onboarding, training, and development field technicians
● Preparing and managing weekly training meetings with your team
● Preparing and managing monthly team luncheons and quarterly team events
● Develop and supervise a team of Field Service Technicians in the Charlotte area.
● Coordinate field service tasks with technicians based on their skills, availability and location.
● Monitoring and evaluating the performance of technicians and 3rd party service providers providing
feedback, coaching and training as needed.
● Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and customer complaints in a timely and professional
manner.
● Communicating with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination
and delivery of field service projects.
● Preparing and reviewing reports and other documents related to field service activities.
● Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards and regulations.
● Preparing quotes for large renovation work

Standard Work Schedule: This position is a combination of onsite work and work-from-home. At least 80% of your time is expected to be spent visiting worksites and spending time with the team for quality control, training, etc.
A company vehicle will be provided after your first 60 days of employment.
Qualifications:
● At least 5 years of experience in field service is required. Prior supervisory experience highly preferred.
● Effective communication skills, both oral and written, are a must.
● Demonstration of the ability to coach and motivate others.
● Ability to review facts and weigh options in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of the issues.
● Ability to work in a time-sensitive setting and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
● Must possess a valid driver's license.
● This position involves some travel to various locations. The travel frequency and duration may vary, but it is usually not more than 25% of the working time.
● Possess the ability to lift/climb/stoop with weights in excess of 125 lbs.
● Possess the ability work at heights (Roofs, Ladders, etc.).
● Experience with general home repairs including but not limited to basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing, roofing, painting, etc.
● Compliance with all rules of conduct, safety regulations and policies provided in Employee Handbooks, on Company bulletin boards/announcements, terms/conditions of employment or other means of communication is a requirement of the job.
