As a Marketing Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Marketing team’s efforts. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing administration, including project management, presentation creation, data entry and analysis, and Excel proficiency. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
- Assist in the coordination and execution of marketing projects and campaigns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of task and project milestones.
- Help track project progress and update project documentation as needed.
2. Data Entry:
- Accurately input and maintain marketing data into our lead engagement database and CRM system.
- Conduct data validation and cleansing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in generating reports and analyzing metrics.
3. Excel Calculator Development:
- Develop and maintain Excel-based calculator.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and formulas to automate calculation and improve efficiency.
- Ensure the accuracy and functionality of Excel tools through rigorous testing and validation.
4. General Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing documents.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other marketing materials.
- Handle incoming inquiries and communications in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accuracy while working with large datasets.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Hours/Pay
- 20-30 hours a week with a flexible schedule, but must be able to work in the Grimes office.
- $12.00 per hour
- Potential to lead to full-time employment
