Concentric Corporation is currently seeking a talented Vice President of Business Development for our client in Lincoln, NE, but is a fully remote.
The Vice President of Business Development is responsible for leading the organization’s business development efforts, driving strategic growth initiatives, and identifying new business opportunities. This role involves building and managing key relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and overseeing the execution of business development strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth and expand the company’s market presence.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including potential markets, partners, and clients.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders.
- Lead the negotiation and execution of major business deals, partnerships, and contracts.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align business development efforts with the company’s strategic goals.
- Oversee market research and competitive analysis to inform business development strategies and identify emerging trends.
- Develop and manage a high-performing business development team, providing mentorship and support to achieve targets.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
- Monitor and report on the performance of business development initiatives, providing regular updates to the executive team.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Extensive experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities, with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of market research and competitive analysis.
