PAYROLL CLERK
Job Title: Payroll Clerk
Location: Corporate Office - Irvine, CA (Fully Onsite, not remote or hybrid)
L.A. Fitness, America's premier fitness and sports club chain, has an immediate opening for a Payroll Clerk for the Irvine, California office.
Primary Duties Include:
· Open and distribute all payroll-related mail and email
· Post returned paychecks to unclaimed checks log and mail to the home address after verifying check has not been reissued
· Create FedEx packages for weekly and bi-weekly payrolls and for daily adjustment checks
· Scan garnishment orders and upload to 3rd party
· Answer employee calls on Payroll Queue for up to 3 non-consecutive hours per day
· Assist with entering timeclock punch updates in Kronos
· Special projects and miscellaneous administrative duties, as needed
Skill Requirements:
· High School graduate with some college preferred
· 2 to 3 years of administrative/office experience; basic payroll experience a plus
· Great attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality a must
· Strong verbal and telephone skills are required for interaction with employees
· Solid Excel and Word skills needed; and Workday experience a big plus
