```Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to attorneys and assist in the preparation of legal documents, research, and case management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for the legal field.
Responsibilities:
Client management - Maintain contact with all personal injury clients under treatment; address and resolve any new issues that arise with clients, including logistics of property (car) damage repair and requests for additional or different treatment; return client calls.
Intake process – Answer incoming calls. Complete intake process for new leads and referrals, which includes interviewing the new lead timely to determine viability of case, then following up to make sure the representation contract and supporting documents are properly signed.
Office Assistant - Greet and direct closing clients to conference room. Print and organize closing documents and package them for mailing. Assist attorney with settlement conferences.
Bill Reductions - Reduce client medical bills in anticipation of settlement.
Additionally, paralegal may have occasional evening duties and additional responsibilities not specifically listed herein in accordance with a busy personal injury practice.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or similar role
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using document management systems and other legal software
- Excellent research skills with the ability to gather information from various sources
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Ability to write clearly and concisely
