Knapp Orthodontics is a growing orthodontic office located in Byron Center and is seeking an Orthodontic Front Desk Coordinator/Records Technician team member with the drive to develop both professionally and personally through learning all aspects of the orthodontic office.
We are a completely digital office with daily use of new technology. We are looking for someone who has 1+ years of previous experience in a dental or orthodontic office. This is a 4.5-day-a-week position.
Scheduled Hours:
Monday | 8:30am-6:00pm
Tuesday | 6:30am - 4:00pm
Wednesday | 7:30am-5:00pm
Thursday | 6:30am - 2:00pm
Friday | 8:00am - 12:00pm

What you’ll be doing:
- Greet and provide office tours to patients and families in a positive, friendly & professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Input new patient information
- Collaborate professionally with dental partners
- Ability to understand and enter insurance information and process payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate with the clinical and patient experience team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations
- Follow up with patients to schedule appointments and address any concerns
- Handle patient emergencies and provide necessary support and assistance while coordinating with other team members
- Take patient x-rays and photos
- Upload patient photos to office software
- Willingness to cross train in other areas of the office
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for patients and their families
- Willingness to cross train in other areas of the office
Requirements:
- 1+ years of previous experience in a dental or orthodontic office is preferred
- Enthusiasm for cross training in other areas of the office
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to create a positive and upbeat experience for patients/families
- Excellent organization abilities and attention to detail
- Proficient in using office software and scheduling systems
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
