Manager of Administrative Services
Cobble Hill Health Center is a not-for-profit long-and short-term care facility providing services to the disabled and elderly for over 40 years. The Manager of Administrative Services will play an integral role in helping us to achieve our vision: to consistently exceed expectations and set the standard for excellence in residential and community care.
Who You Are:
As the Administrative Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to the CEO, while also serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership roles and departments.. In this position, you will handle a variety of administrative duties and manage several ongoing projects to help drive the efficiency and order of the facility. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Acts as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior management team

Participates with the CEO and senior management team in strategic planning, policy development, and decision-making

Ensures timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the senior leadership team

Researches and recommends new and revised policies and strategies

Creates and maintains systems and processes to streamline operations

Represents CEO in meetings, by email, and phone calls with internal and external stakeholders

Manages the CEO's calendar and prioritizes their time and schedule.

Drafts letters, emails, reports, and other correspondence on behalf of the CEO when needed

Supports CEO in meetings by taking notes and assuming responsibility for completion of action items

Acts as the liaison between CEO and other leaders, clients, and stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and ensuring involvement or decision-making at the proper time
What You Offer:

Degree in Public Health, Business or a related field strongly preferred

Experience in public health administration a plus

Prior experience in an administrative role, or hands-on experience in a healthcare setting

Excellent communicator; both written and verbally

Detail oriented; with the ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects

Experience working in a skilled nursing home or other healthcare setting a plus

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel) or Google Suite

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work independently under deadline
