Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans.
Accessible Space is a national nonprofit provider of high-quality accessible, affordable housing for individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician in Las Vegas, NV.
This position will collaborate and have the support of members of our property management team to ensure all routine maintenance and repairs are completed and building systems are operating properly. This includes performing maintenance or repairs that are more complex. Other responsibilities include the completion and maintenance of accurate records of completed work orders, reports, site inspection forms, etc.
Candidate must have a minimum of three years general maintenance and/or construction trade experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and an ability to perform routine buildings and grounds maintenance. The ability to work both indoors and outside. Must be able to obtain HQS (Housing Quality Standards) certification upon hire or within 90 days of hire.
Also needed - the ability to move from site to site throughout the day and to transport tools and equipment. Ability to travel to all assigned properties including out of state properties, as required and ensure availability to answer after-hours emergency calls promptly
Great position for someone who likes to work independently - must be able to communicate with others on the team to ensure upkeep of the properties meets ASI standards.
