Overview:

Checking timesheets for accuracy

Maintain databases and spreadsheets
-
Collaborate with the human resources department to maintain employee data in HRIS
-
Support with direct deposit requests and data
-
Issue employees’ wages by check or electronic transfer when required
-
Process wage garnishments
-
Resolve payroll errors
-
Issue and maintain employee tax related documentation in HRIS
-
Review and abide by company policies and procedures
-
All additional duties as assigned.

1 year of relevant education or experience

Well Versed in State Payroll Laws
-
Must be well organized and a self-starter.

Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable.

Proficient in Excel and Word
-
Possess strong organizational and time management skills.

Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Ability to interact with peers, clients, and vendors in a professional manner.

Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
