Administrative Assistant
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for accurate entry of employee data and pay into internal, payroll, and benefit systems. The administrator will work closely with the human resources team to ensure timely and accurate processing of salaries, wages, bonuses, other compensation-related matters, and additional tasks as requested. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and comprehensive understanding of payroll procedures and regulations.
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE The formal education and experience for the payroll administrator job description varies according to the nature of the job responsibilities. However, the following are commonly required for this role. ·

Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personal information, tax withholdings, and direct deposit details. Update employee information promptly and address any discrepancies or changes as required.
Enter payroll data, such as salary adjustments, bonuses, deductions, into the payroll system with high accuracy and attention to detail. Ensure that all information is entered promptly and in accordance with established deadlines.
Verify employee data, including personal information, banking details, and tax withholdings, to ensure accuracy in payroll processing. Maintain confidentiality and data security in handling sensitive employee information.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Organize and file payroll documents in accordance with company policies and retention requirements.
Communicate effectively with human resources regarding payroll-related inquiries or issues. Provide timely and accurate responses to questions related to payroll data entry and processes.
Adhere to payroll policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in payroll data entry and related tasks. Suggest solutions to streamline data entry process, reduce errors, and enhance overall payroll operations
