Job Summary
As the Director/Senior Director of Ecommerce & Operations Product Management, you will be responsible for product management of various ecommerce and operations capabilities for V Shred. This role will primarily focus on supporting and delivering impactful ecommerce, customer engagement, and retention capabilities and advancing our backend operational functions. You have a deep knowledge of product management discipline; firsthand experience with marketing and ecommerce strategies of digital and physical products, services, and a passion for developing innovative product strategies driving customer LTV. In this role, you will build and strengthen close collaboration with key partners across Marketing, Technology, Customer Experience, Operations, and Finance functions.
Essential Job Functions
- Product Strategy: Develop and articulate clear product vision and roadmap that aligns with company objectives and customer needs, leveraging data driven customer insights, performance analytics, and market research for various initiatives across our digital services, supplements, and training and coaching programs driving customer value and business growth.
- Product Specification: Document the "what" and "why" behind each product initiative, aligning with the broader product strategy to ensure a cohesive vision. Gather and document business and product requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to define digital requirements, prioritize features, and drive consensus on product priorities and trade-offs in close collaboration with key stakeholders across Sales / Marketing, Operations, Tech, Data, Operations, and Finance teams.
- Product Development: Be a high impact and influential partner to project delivery and execution teams for the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept ideation and requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and launch, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of products and services.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of product initiatives, track performance against goals, and iterate on product features and enhancements based on data-driven insights.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on product roadmap, status, and priorities, and soliciting feedback to ensure alignment and buy-in across the organization.
- Culture and Teamwork: Accountable for professional working behavior, building and maintaining constructive working relationships, implementing proactive and concise communication, acting as a resource to colleagues, and engaging in collaborative thinking and problem solving while demonstrating VShred’s core values.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in product management with a strong ecommerce, direct to customer, data, operations bend is required.
- A strong track record of successfully launching and managing digital and customer products in the e-commerce space is required.
- Experience in the health and fitness industry will be a major plus.
- Experience in growth stage businesses will also be a major plus.
