POSITION SUMMARY
Steer Plant Operations, drive daily management of production, planning, materials, maintenance, engineering and other functions and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Direct and coordinate production, processing, and shipping activities of the organization.
2. Meet the business objectives set for plant- revenue, RTS , FPY etc by ensuring set processes are performed with intent.
3. Provide support to team and manage team for effective operation and control.
4. Ensure product quality through process controls, training of people and other control measures.
5. Ensue Safety / housekeeping/ upkeep of plant and personnel.
6. Provide reports to corporate management team on performance and objective achievements/ issues.
7. Be detailed in operational knowledge, tasks to guide and control manufaturing activities.
8. Develop budgets and approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources, ensuring that materials, labor and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.
9. Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
10. Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
8. Set and monitor product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
9. Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports, to detect production problems.
10. Coordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.
11. Maintain current knowledge of the quality control field, relying on current literature pertaining to materials use, technological advances, and statistical studies.
12. Review/evaluate direct reports as required by company policy and work situations.
13. Maintain safety within the manufacturing area in accordance with government regulations and company policy.
14. Other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred. Other Engineering degree may be considered with experience.
Experience Requirements:
- Must have minimum of 15 years of experience managing an Assembly Shop
- Must have at least 10 years of senior supervisory/managerial experience.
- Must be a very good leader with good people skills.
- Budget and P&L experience a plus.
- Must have good organization skills
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills and know how
Preferred: Minimum 5yrs. Experience in Transformer Industrial and 5-10 yrs of Manufacturing Management experience as must.
