Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Dietary Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality management, ensuring the highest standards of nutrition and dining experience for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the dietary department in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Plan, direct, and coordinate food service activities
- Develop and maintain menus that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences
- Train and supervise dietary staff in food production, safety, and sanitation practices
- Manage inventory, budget, and ordering of food supplies
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food according to health regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to address residents' nutritional needs
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Dietary Manager required
- Strong knowledge of food handling, catering, and hospitality management
- Experience in food production, kitchen operations, and restaurant management
- Proficiency in managing shifts effectively to maintain quality service
- Understanding of food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and residents
