ACCEL Schools is seeking a highly qualified Grants Manager in Ohio to join our growing team. With a network of 80 charter schools, ACCEL employs a diverse staff of passionate professionals who value research based practices and desire to grow as professionals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and submit proposals for external funds for the ACCEL Schools
- Serve as liaison for school staff requesting grant writing assistance
- Submit initial Title grants in CCIP and maintain revisions throughout the school year
- Work closely with the grants management accountant to properly spend down funds
- Support schools in their competitive and Title grant compliance
- Identify and disseminate grant information to schools
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Maintain current knowledge of program rules, regulations, requirements and restrictions
- Maintain current knowledge of technological advances in the field
- Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action
- Meet schedules and timelines
- Plan and organize work
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five (5) years professional experience in education and/or writing grants
- Proficient in Ohio state grant and reporting systems is required
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and web based applications
- Understanding and ability to manage confidential information
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
