The Host/Hostess is the first impression of our service focused restaurant. Guest’s interactions with our Host/Hostess team members are first in the exceptional experience we expect to create. The Host/Hostess responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times, and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. Our Hosts and Hostess show tremendous organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. This role reports to the General Manager.

Greet our guest with a warm welcoming smile and positive attitude.

Manage reservations and wait times while communicating with management to include the open table software.

Operate and Manage orders to include deliver service applications IE. Door Dash, Grub Hub, Uber Eats Etc.

Follow the seating rotation to ensure equal guest distribution among servers.

Escort our guests to their dining area.

Help set and clear tables to expedite service.

Recognize and welcome regular guests by name and cater to their preferences to create a welcoming environment.

Manage a cash register, payments, and Tip. Ensure that customers are correctly charged, present the bill and take payment from the customer, in accordance with the procedures of the establishment.

Be able to effectively communicate special requests and special needs to chefs, management, servers, bar staff and other support staff

Cleaning all areas of the restaurant operation, not limited to just the dining area. May include bathroom.

Physical Requirements
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to;

Lifting, up to 50 pounds

bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing

Prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen.

Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment.

Prolonged time using a keyboard, computer or tablet.
This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
