Our Public Adjusting firm is based in Medley, FL as a team of Public Adjusters and support staff, we assist homeowners and business owners during their insurance claims process. We're hoping to add another highly motivated individual to our growing team looking to secure a long term opportunity.
We're seeking a claims support assistant who can perform their duties independently at the highest level of accountability. Most importantly the candidate must be willing to acquire new knowledge and carry a can-do attitude.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Provide assistance to the Licensed Public Adjusters during the handling of the insurance claim.
- Scheduling appointments and managing office calendar as needed.
- Reporting new claims to the insurance company as needed.
- Data entry of claim information as needed.
- Understanding insurance correspondence and claim documentation within our office.
- Exercising strong verbal skills while contacting insurance companies, vendors and/or clients to obtain or provide claim information.
- Establish and maintain an effective line of communication throughout the claims process with all parties.
- Document claim activity via our internal software for proper record keeping.
- Fluent in English and Spanish is a MUST.
- Must be able to self-direct, problem solve and multi-task.
- Highly Organized and Detailed Oriented.
- Great Customer Service skills.
- Office knowledge with the ability to learn new software.
- Reliable.
- Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
- Minimum 2 years of experience is a MUST. Please do not apply if you lack experience.
