The successful Research Associate (Antibody Development) applicant will work at our DAVIS CA facility as part of a team producing and developing best in class antibodies for a diverse clientele including academic research scientists, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies.
The use of antibodies as research tools, therapeutic drugs, and as capture reagents in diagnostic assays continues to grow. This position represents a very exciting opportunity to gain expertise in the development and production of antibodies for research and diagnostic purposes and to learn from an established team.

Requirements:
· BS in life sciences with at least one year of bench experience in academic or industry setting
· Comfortable with basic data analysis and ability to keep accurate records of work performed
· At least one year of mammalian cell culture experience and must be fully independent on all aspects of cell maintenance, expansion, preservation, and general handling.
· Experience working with proteins (SDS-PAGE, production and purification, immunoassays)
Additional (preferred) experience:
· Experience with protein purification (gravity flow and FPLC based purification)
· Experience with protein conjugation
· Experience with antibody-based assays (Western blot, ICC, IHC, ELISA...)
· Experience working in a GMP environment is a plus but not required
