General Purpose:
To support and ensure that all Export/Federal Weapons shipping operations meet and exceeds the standard operating procedures of Export/Federal shipping.
Shift(s):
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Prepares, Stages and ships all pistols for all Export/Federal shipments, to include adhering all requested labels, banding as needed.
- Screens, stages and ships parts and accessories that include firearms in the SO.
- Conducts a 100% inspection and screening on all Export/Federal Weapons shipments per TSA guidelines.
- Stages all completed shipments through Dynamics AX.
- Works closely with the Planning Department to ensure all Export/Federal shipments planned delivery dates are met.
- Assist Supervisor with improving shipping productivity.
- Transfers in AX all Export/Federal weapons coming from the shipping lines to an Export/Federal location.
- Reports any issues found during the screening process to the Supervisor.
- Advises Export Sales Department and Federal Sales Department with each Shipment Dimension after SO is screened and shipped from AX.
- Monitors the inventory of all TET tape and CCSF stickers.
- Supports all LEAN activities in the shipping area, especially the sustainable execution and implementation of 5S principles (order and cleanliness) and continuous process improvement (stable processes) based on KAIZEN principles to achieve highest quality standards.
- Assist with any other task given within Planning and Shipping Department when needed.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience in warehouse/inventory environment is preferred.
Must have knowledge of GLOCK parts and part numbers.
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
English or Bilingual preferred
Basic math skills
Must have knowledge in Microsoft excel and Dynamics AX
Licenses and Certifications:
TSA certified

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is to work indoors in a climate controlled warehouse setting. The employee will occasionally walk back and forth from office to warehouses. Work regularly scheduled shifts within normal hours of operation and may be asked to work overtime as needed. On occasion work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt and dust. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
