Responsibility will be to ensure the smooth functioning of the front office operations. You will play a pivotal role in managing administrative tasks efficiently and providing excellent customer service to our patients. Below is an outline of the key duties and responsibilities associated with this role:
Appointment Schedule Management
- Regularly check the appointment schedule for any discrepancies or conflicts.
- Coordinate with staff to resolve scheduling issues promptly.
Administrative Tasks
- Print Patient Routing Slips for appointments and ensure they are accurately distributed to the appropriate Dental Staff.
- Verify insurance carrier details for patients and assist in completing Private and Government insurance pre-authorization processes.
- Match handwritten bank deposit slips to computer-generated deposit slips for financial accuracy.
- Balance daily credit card and cash receipts for bank deposits to ensure financial records are in order.
- Data enter patient information to generate (Word document) Orthodontic Contracts, Private Insurance, Treatment Plans, and Orthodontic breakdowns.
- Complete hospital paperwork for patients.
Patient Interaction
- Greet and check-in patients upon their arrival, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Provide assistance and answer inquiries related to appointments, insurance, and general office procedures.
Data Management and Integrity
- Perform regular computer backups to safeguard essential data and ensure data integrity.
- Update patients' addresses and insurance information in the computer system accurately and promptly.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a front office or administrative role, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various responsibilities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions and patient information.
- Proficiency in using computer software and office equipment for administrative tasks.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and colleagues courteously and professionally.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Education:High School Diploma/Degree; AND Experience:(1) years of experience in work related;
