We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. ```Responsibilities```
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out process
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about our services
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable
```Requirements```
- Proven experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role in a dental office setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental office procedures
- Proficient in using dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, Open Dental a +
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
