Lead Kennel Technician Position
Reports directly to the Kennel Manager and in a supervisory role.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Handle animals humanely, properly, and with compassion, including those that may be sick or injured
- Provide general/advanced care and maintenance of all dogs in the kennel walking the kennels several times a shift making notes of repairs and or issues and fixing or scheduling them to be fixed.
- Sustain the general/advanced care and maintenance of dog kennels and other equipment required for daily tasks.
- Team building, Training and supervise evening shifts.
- Ensure each dog receives adequate breaks and exercise each day, monitor outdoor time.
- Wash down and/or Pressure wash and/or clean kennels daily.
- Use cleaners and disinfectants with chemical agents per MSDS guidelines.
- Responsible for the scheduling of all dog grooming and making sure dogs go home groomed/baths over three days and or as needed that nail are trimmed and dogs smell and look good.
- Take appropriate measures to control and prevent the spread of disease.
- Notify the Kennel Managers regarding any proposed change and/or addition to medication and/or diet for approval by the Kennel Managers of any client or CFK9 dog.
- Check clients in / out, fill out and file paperwork, collect money through cash, credit and checks.
- Answer and return all phone calls, schedule appointments and assist the Business Manager.
- Take Photos and videos of Day Care and Boarding Dogs to send to owners, daily.
- In-putting and keeping all information updated in PetLinx.
- Document and Train new hires.

- Withstand various noises, smells associated with vomit, urine, feces, blood or other bodily fluids.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Lift and carry 50 pounds and store items in overhead areas.
- Bend squat, kneel, climb, run and reach over your head.
- Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
