About the Role:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and a keen eye for aesthetics, with a focus on creating functional and visually appealing spaces. This role requires the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and other design team members to bring design concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of interior design concepts for a variety of spaces, including residential, commercial, and public areas.
- Create mood boards, material palettes, and renderings to present design ideas to clients.
- Produce detailed drawings and specifications for interior spaces, including layouts, furnishings, fixtures, and fittings.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design concepts are executed accurately and timely.
- Stay updated on the latest interior design trends, materials, and products.
- Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and documentation.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Provide administrative support to senior designers, such as sourcing materials, preparing presentations, and liaising with clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in interior design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and previous projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and others.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Creative thinker with an eye for color, texture, and detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
