Job Summary:
AT the Homewood Suites, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations. The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all areas within our facility. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team. This is an OEM (Overtime Eligible Manager) position.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and productivity
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas are properly cleaned and maintained
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and usage
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction
- Handle guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including schedules, budgets, and performance evaluations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, floor care, and custodial practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent.
-2-3 plus years of experience in Housekeeping Management preferred.
-Basic computer skills needed. Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred.
-Experience with hotel information systems preferred (OnQ).
