Duties:
- Perform MIG welding on various metal components and structures
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding specifications
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools
- Inspect welded joints for quality and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Assemble and fabricate metal parts as required
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role
- Proficient in MIG welding techniques and processes
- Familiarity with other welding techniques such as stick welding is a plus
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication is preferred
- Experience operating forklifts and machining equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
