At MACVAD we have 60+ years experience sourcing and supplying products for supermarkets and “Big Box'' retail chains. Our track record shows growth and consistent success. The role involves:
· Provide admin support to our sales team and exceptional customer service.
· Forwarding samples, arranging shipment and notifying customers
· Order entry and critical path management.
· Helping to prepare sales presentations, developing presentation formats and materials.
· Developing relationships with our very important suppliers and customers and provide excellent service.
You will need to be able to demonstrate:
· A positive personality and proactive approach to your work
· Excellent communication, both verbal and written
· Effective organizing, prioritizing and planning skills, with great follow through, care and attention to detail
· An interest in learning, including about products and retail trends
· Data processing
· Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
· A full driver’s license required & ability to commute to Edgewater Chicago.
· Knowledge of major retailers & homeware products would be an advantage.
