Gwynedd Manufacturing, a growing defense contractor located in North Wales, PA, is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing quality products for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. We are currently seeking CMM Programmer. This work involves programing, maintaining, and upgrading our current Zeiss CMM and Vision Keyence system applications. The CMM programmer works to ensure that new CMM programs are created, existing programs are accurate and CMM is properly maintained. This position will involve the QA Lab environment and Shop Floor inspections.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ability to assist Management with instituting and expanding the company QMS.
- Expand the company’s technology footprint and upgrading its CMM program library.
- Training Quality Technicians on inspection techniques and operation of CMM and Vision systems.
- Able to program Keyence Vision Systems
Qualifications and Requirements
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail.
- Standard gage skill set. Micrometers, Calipers, Height gages, Comparator
- Proficiency with Calypso software on a Zeiss Contura G2. Must have Basic certification, Advanced preferred.
- Mechanically Inspect True Position, Flatness, Straightness, circular and total runout
- Ability to interpret Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerance per ASME y14.5-2018
- Able to program Keyence Vision Systems
- 3 years experience in a Quality Department / CMM programing
- Experience with Military Standards a plus
