Job Posting: Painter and Management Position
We are a high-volume manufacturing company seeking experienced automotive, truck, or trailer painters proficient in using Binks or DeVilbiss spray equipment. This role requires not only strong painting skills but also management responsibilities, including overseeing painting operations, ensuring quality control, and coordinating the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate a team of painters to meet production goals.
- Conduct and pass a pre-employment spray test and a gun tear-down and cleaning test using a Binks SV 100 spray gun.
- Paint trailers, including underneath, which requires the ability to get up and down from the floor multiple times per job.
- Ensure all surfaces are properly primed and top-coated for a high-quality finish.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to quality standards.
- Utilize top-quality spray guns and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with Binks or DeVilbiss spray equipment.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Good health and physical condition.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Non-smoking with smoke breaks allowed in designated areas.
