Job Description:
Aircraft On Ground (AOG) Technician will drive company vehicle throughout the San Francisco Bay Area to perform unscheduled maintenance on the work scope of customer aircraft. Technician will perform a variety of troubleshooting duties on aircraft and assist with the coordination of resources based upon operational requirements.
When not traveling to customer aircraft, technician will be based at company facility in Bay Area. This position requires extensive travel throughout the Northern California region. At times, AOG technician may travel beyond the Northern California region to complete time-sensitive repairs for customers.
Essential Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Perform a range of unscheduled maintenance on multiple corporate aircraft models.
- Initiate the forms associated with performing work at a location other than the repair station.
- Initiate work orders and verify that they are maintained, stored properly and readily accessible once the work is complete.
- Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals as needed.
- Ensure that parts are appropriately designated, labeled and stored as referred to in the manual.
- Complete all maintenance work order and Return-to-Service paperwork.
- Maintain time tracking on a daily basis.
- Ensure all aircraft maintenance requests are responded to in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure all maintenance is performed in accordance with the Repair Station guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
The preferred candidate for this position has a minimum of 3 years of experience on at least one of the following aircraft types:
- Embraer Phenom
- Embraer Legacy/Praetor
- Hawker 800/900
- Bombardier Challenger 350/650
- Bombardier Global
- Gulfstream
- Cessna Citation
- Dassault Falcon
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Must be legally able to work in the United States.
- Must be able to obtain airport security badge if airport authority requires one.
- Able to travel on short notice.
- Able to sit for up to six hours.
- Able to lift/pull objects up to 70 pounds.
- Flexible work schedule may include working some overtime, nights, and weekends.
