Job Title: Senior Review Specialist (SRS)
Reports To: NSLP Director

Position Overview: The Senior Review Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact between the CNR review team and sponsors throughout the USDA Administrative Review process. There is potential for growth opportunities within as we continue to grow and implement new contracts.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Review Monitoring: Throughout the administrative review, the SRS will monitor review compliance and deadlines. This involves keeping track of documentation due dates, coordinating within the CNR team, and keeping up with changes to the review process.
Communication: The SRS will be responsible for daily communication during normal business hours with assigned sponsors via email, video calls, and phone.
Review Work:
- Conduct an introductory phone call with the sponsor to confirm the review date and details.
- Examine and evaluate program operations within USDA child nutrition programs to ensure compliance with all required state and federal rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Complete all required forms and tools related to the general areas of the Administrative Reviews with the USDA Child Nutrition Programs.
- Provide friendly and effective customer service to assist sponsors throughout the review process to ensure timely completion of all areas of review.
- Provide technical assistance to sponsors to aid in their understanding of program requirements and to implement effective corrective action.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a consistent work product across all areas of review.
- Utilize the company website to maintain call logs, review specifics, and communicate with sponsors from a single location.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human nutrition or related field.
- Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations pertaining to child nutrition programs specifically the Summer Food Service Program, School Breakfast, and National School Lunch Programs.
- Ability to identify a reimbursable meal under Offer vs. Serve.
- Ability to recognize program deficiencies and irregularities and recommend methods of correction.
- Minimum 3-5 years of prior school foodservice or NSLP compliance-related experience.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 suite
Additional Requirements:
- Fingerprint clearance (as applicable) will be required
- Must possess a current and valid driver’s license
