As a Technical Support Representative, you will be the key point of contact within the EMS and Fire Department market to support their technical needs. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
Provides technical assistance and training to customers & employees by performing the following duties and any others assigned by supervisor.
Desktop & Phone Support:
- Provide phone support and technical issue resolution to end users.
- Record events and problems to ensure resolution is within the SLA
- Follow-up and update customer status and information
- Setup/configuration/update of users, programs, printers, and desktop/laptops
- Configure desktop systems and software to company specifications.
- Obtain technical understanding of all application operations related to company services.
- Troubleshoot and identify bugs, resolve and or escalate to development
- Laptop/Desktop hardware support.
- Enterprise application internal support and escalation; VOIP, and Zoho
Windows Server Administration:
- Active Directory, Group Policy, Server monitoring and management, Backup management, SQL.
Microsoft 365 / Azure Administration:
- Host Pools, VPN’s, Virtual Machines and networks, Sharepoint / OneDrive, Office 365, and Power BI.
The Ideal candidate will also possess the following skills:
- Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications and troubleshoot issues in person.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
- Experience with hardware and software issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft related applications such as Microsoft Office, Windows Server, and SQL.
- Good (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
