Position Summary:
- Under direct supervision by department leadership, donor lab tech performs diagnostic clinical and clinical contract research testing.
- Prepare samples through sample management and test samples on 4 different analyzers for customer results.
- Supports preparation of laboratory reagents and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Understands and performs to all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Supports sample management team with sample identification/evaluation, labeling, processing and centrifuging samples when there are high volumes of samples or decrease in tests needed
- Assist in prepping samples for diagnostic testing, as scheduled (500-1,500 samples per analyzer in a given night – night shift has the highest volume of tests so sample prep is very important).
- Labels products to meet regulatory and inventory requirements
- Maintains a level of productivity that allows department to achieve production goals
- Other duties, as assigned
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- High School diploma required
- 6+ months of work experience (production or healthcare experience)
- Preferred but Not Required: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in life science/science adjacent
- Preferred but Not Required: Phlebotomy, sample/specimen processing, or healthcare experience

Pay: $17.00 - $21.50 per hour
